This is sad, but true. More often than not, people settle for something less than what they deserve because they are scared to go further. They are afraid to move one step closer towards their dreams. I am currently in that situation right now. Being a young adult is too hard and terrifying because you don't know what awaits for you on the other side of the door. Even so, I always remind myself that everything I have ever wanted is on the other side of fear.

We will not progress if we do not try something we're not comfortable with. Just like when learning to drive. I refuse to drive through narrow roads for the fear of crashing into other cars. But my Mother insisted that I must because it's always bound to happen. She said that I would get a sense of fulfillment after I conquered that narrow road. Then with my heart racing, I went through that road, ever so conscious of the clutch and the nose of my car. I never backed down to go through any road again.

Hmm, this thought is very wise. I like motivational posts.
